Ultrasonic phonophoresis delivers cosmetic products into the skin using ultrasound. Oscillations at 1–3 MHz temporarily increase skin permeability, so actives penetrate 5–10 times deeper than with simple application. At the same time the ultrasound warms the tissue and boosts microcirculation, so the method amplifies the product’s own effect.
Indications: dehydration, age-related changes, loss of tone, puffiness, pigmentation, post-acne congestion, cellulite and localised fat deposits (in body mode).
Contraindications: pregnancy, oncological disease, pacemaker, acute inflammation, thrombophlebitis, broken skin, individual intolerance to the product.
A consultation before the course is mandatory: the specialist takes the medical history and rules out conditions in which the treatment is not allowed.
A course is 10–12 sessions twice a week, 20–30 minutes per area. Maintenance: 1–2 sessions a month.
Hydration and softness are felt immediately. Lasting changes — density, tone, less pigmentation — are assessed after the full course, roughly 5–6 weeks in.
