Hydrodermabrasion (aqua peeling) is a device-assisted cleansing that uses a vortex flow of water and serum. The tip softens and flushes out pore content, removes the keratinised layer and immediately delivers a moisturising or sebum-regulating solution. Unlike manual extraction it does not traumatise the skin: there is no redness and no downtime, so the client can go straight back to their day.
Indications: blackheads and clogged pores, oily and combination skin, dull complexion, dehydration, early signs of ageing, skin prep before a peel or injections.
Contraindications: broken skin, active herpes, inflammatory acne with pustules, couperose in the treatment area, oncological disease, pregnancy (only as prescribed by a doctor).
A consultation before the course is mandatory: the specialist takes the medical history and rules out conditions in which the treatment is not allowed.
One session a month is enough for maintenance; for heavily congested pores a course of 4–6 sessions every 7–10 days is recommended. A session takes 30–45 minutes.
Clean, glowing skin is visible right after the first session — which is why aqua peeling is often booked as an express treatment before an event. Lasting pore tightening and smoother texture appear by the end of the course.
