Microcurrent therapy applies pulsed currents of very low intensity (up to 1000 µA), close to the body’s own bioelectric currents. They restore the cell membrane potential, normalise the tone of facial muscles, improve lymphatic drainage and tissue nutrition. The treatment is completely comfortable — the client feels only a light tingling.
Indications: facial puffiness and oedema, dull complexion, reduced muscle tone, a blurred jawline, dark circles under the eyes, rehabilitation after plastic surgery and traumatic procedures, couperose (microcurrent is one of the few methods allowed).
Contraindications: pregnancy, pacemaker, epilepsy, oncological disease, individual intolerance to electric current, metal implants in the treatment area, acute inflammation.
